How to Remove My Documents folder from the Start Menu in XP?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am trying to remove the My Documents folder from the Start Menu of Windows XP Professional edition. Is there a way to remove it temporarily?

Another point is that if I keep the My Documents folder in the Start Menu then is it possible to customize the My Documents such a way so that it does not keep/show the recently used file names?

Your kind tips regarding this issue is very much appreciated.

Easy to do

1. Right click on on Start Menu
2. Choose properties from menu
3. Click the Customize button
4. Click the Advanced tab
5. Scroll down to My Documents in the center window
6. Choose Do Not Display This Item
7. Click OK, then OK again to close the windows

Repeat steps to put it back
