How to remove permissions on the tmp folder

By neville ·
I have a site using XP2 where when we try to decompress files into the standard Windows temp folder, we get access denied, decompression failure. anyone know a way around this?
Thanks

Are you sure it's not your decompression routine at fault?

Right click on the folder

and select the security tab. System should have full control the rest is up to you. I agree with the other poster though, it sounds like you have a pw protected file that your trying to decompress.

security tab, if your name is already listed, check if you have ownership of the file

(If not listed add it and give yourself permission)

Click the Advanced button>click the owner tab> select your name> click apply

lots of luck

PW protected file

The actual file is protected by a Comodo certificate. I'll remove that and try again.
Thanks guys for your comments.
