EDIT: Feel I need to be more specific. I can’t log in. I’m trying to run a repair from the XP setup menu.
Finally got around to finding an XP disk, and since I couldn’t figure out how to just repair it, I did a clean install.
But now it says the pci file is corrupt and won’t boot, and tells me to repair.
The question is, what do I do to repair it?
I get the question: “What OS do you want to be primary?”
One option, C:\Windows\
I hit 1, enter. And then enter the password.
However after that, it gives me something like a DOS prompt.
Just: C:\WINDOWS\
And it lets me type stuff.
What exact do I do?
