    How to reset Words Tool Bars

    Is there anyway to reset the tool bars in MS Word so that every time Word starts the same tool bars are always present and in the same locations ?

      Right click over the top toolbar and select the toolbars you wish to use by placing a check mark on all your selections you desire. Click outside the toolbar selection area, then you can move the toolbars by placing the pointer over the leading leftedge of each toolbar to get the cross-hair arrows and you can move it to the location you choose.

      Search your computer for the file called normal.dot , this is the file that holds the default user settings, including toolbar placement.
      To RESET to the default office placement of the toolbars,exit office, delete normal.dot and restart office. This will regenerate a default normal.dot file
