How to restore data from Tape?

I used an external HP Surestore Tape drive to back up data, the Tape drive later crushed and now I need to restore the data on a different NT server with an internal tape drive, but NT Backup cannot recognize the tape and neither can Veritas, Does anyone know of a software that can do that?
