You might need an app to do it. You already asked about that more than a month ago. Now I see you found one, although I had to delete the name because it’s spammed too much. Great.

For more info on how to use it, google <app name here> site:techrepublic.com. You’ll find helpful info there.

Setting up a lock screen on your Android device is essential for ensuring your data and privacy remain secure. Here’s a quick guide to help you get it done:

Go to Settings: Open the ‘Settings’ app on your Android device.

Find Security or Lock Screen Option: Depending on your device, navigate to ‘Security,’ ‘Lock Screen & Security,’ or simply ‘Lock Screen.’

Select Screen Lock Type: Tap on ‘Screen Lock’ or ‘Set Screen Lock.’ You’ll see options like:

Pattern: Draw a specific pattern to unlock.

      PIN: Enter a numeric code.

Password: Use a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.

Biometric Options: If supported, you can enable fingerprint or face recognition.

Set Your Lock Screen: Follow the prompts to create your preferred lock method. You might be asked to confirm it or set up a backup method.

Additional Customizations: Once your lock screen is set, you can customize notifications, wallpapers, or shortcuts displayed on the lock screen under the same settings menu.
For those new to Android or dealing with specific models, the options might vary slightly, but the general process remains the same. If you’re facing any issues, let us know your device model, and we can guide you further!
