How to shade alternate lines in Excel

You just published a newsletter telling how to do this in Access. I have occasionally been wanting to do this with an Excel spreadsheet, but have only been able to use the Format/AutoFormat feature and select one that uses alternate line shading. Am I missing something, or is this harder to do? I have searched thru your Technical Q&A, but didn’t find what I want.
