How to step into Cyber security domain?

I am Quality assurance person by profession. I have keen interest in learning Cyber security.
Any insight on how to take that first step, any courses, beginner level certifications etc. would be very helpful. Please suggest.

I am in the exact same place as you, Ruchika. I have been studying via CompTIA and CodeAcademy. Those are two great, very affordable resources. You will most likely need certifications from CompTIA anyway. I have actually really been enjoying studying for once thanks to those two sites.
