How to stop Excel 2007 from loading default formats

By Dynic-IT ·

We have recently purchased a new computer for one of our users, which included upgrading her to Office 2007 Professional.

As you know, when you change various style, layout, and other, settings and save a file, it reopens the file next time with those settings.

My problem is that her computer is not opening her excel documents with those old layout settings, but seems to be loading the default settings instead. I can open the document on my PC however, with the correct formatting coming up.

If she changes the settings and saves, then it reopens with the new settings, but if I open it on my PC it still loads the original settings from before the upgrade.

The settings effected so far include:
Row Height
Print area

This been happening with XLS files opened in 2007, as well as XLS files converted to XLSX

I've tested her connection, and also the printers, but so far everything seems to point to it being a problem with her Excel.

Sorry if this seems to be a rather simple problem, or if I've gone and posted a question somewhere where I should be doing it.

Thanks for any assistance that may be provided
