how to syncronize outlook

By pchlp ·
I would like to syncronize the Outlook address book with another computer.
What is the best way to do this. They both have Outlook on them.

Export it from one system as a csv or pst file and import it into the other system.

Cheers.

Presuming that simply sharing the contacts folders and opening them up on the other PC's isnt enough try this...

Add a contacts folder to public folders and copy all your contacts there from both PC's (simple copy and paste from within outlook).

You can then set both PC's to use this as their primary contacts folder. Ctrl + Shift + B, go to the tools menu and select options. Add the public folder to both PC's and put it at the top of the list for address checking, and select the public folder under 'show this address list first.'

This of course doesnt so much synchronise it as gets both PC's using the smae contacts folder.

For a manual synchronisation add the same contacts folder under public folders - both copy all your contacs to it, then both copy em back out.
