You shouldn't need a batch file. If the update file is an executable file, then you simply need to place it in a shared folder on your network and anybody who can connect to that share with adequate rights should be able to run the update file. Wedo this with the virus update files we download from both McAfee and Norton and it works fine. Unless there is some other issue with your network, that should be all there is to it.

Good luck.

Answer 1 is probably the best way, but if you want a batch program. Map a network drive for each computer on your pc that has the updated file. Then using notepad write a batch file like update.bat
Update.bat would read something like this depending on your folder structure and mapped drive letters.
copy c:\folder\virus.dat J:\folder\virus.dat
copy c:\folder\virus.dat k:\folder\virus.dat
copy c:\folder\virus.dat l:\folder\virus.dat
This is over simplified, but I would need to know more about your lan and the virus program and folder structure. But I think it gives you the idea anyways.
