How to use access 2000 or 2007

By sherifff.ahmed ·
Hello
I'm really lost, and i will be eternally pleased if some one can guide me step by step for creating the folowing access rule for filtering a name database.

I have 2 files
1- the first one contain arabic names
2- the second contain a call center call list with tel number "0122334455" Name + First Name.

Ok here is the question.
I want tha access can scan and delete all arabic names listed on my first file, from my second file.

I want also to delete all phone numbers beginning with thoes folowing first numbers "06********" "07********" "08********"

And i'm really a noob, and i had never worked with access before.

Hope that my question was asked right, cause my english is a little of poor

If you are looking for something to automatically do this for you...

... best to use the built in HELP and read up on Macros/VB Script, because there's no automatic feature in Access to do this for you.

But, you can still skim through the records and delete them manually, one at a time.

No matter what you do, you're still going to need to use the built in HELP to learn how to use Access. Either that, or buy a good book or take a class. There are far too many things to learn about Access for us to teach you here.
