HowTo Inst. FrontPage2002 w/ Office2000

I would like some assistance when installing FrontPage 2002 with an existing Office 2000 installation. I have tried it on a couple of different machines and had mixed results.

Often I loose my Office Shortcut Bar. Help files won't load correctly. I've even lost some wizards in Access.

Does anyone have any definative advice on what components to install and not install from the FP2002 disc so it own't interfere with with the old Office 2000 stuff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try installing it to a different folder than the earlier Office 2000 instal, this way the registry settings aren't screwed up.
I know the problem you are facing and have seen it on one or two machines. In most cases I would COMPLETELY uninstall office 2000 firstand reinstall after FP but that's a hassle. Easier to simply set up into a different folder than the default Microsoft Office folder.
