hp cd creator plus 7200 series

The problem started when I upgraded from win98 to 2k. I replaced easy cd creator 2 with easy cd creator 4.02 which was recommeded for win2k. Everytime I click on create cd it gives me this message “There are no supported
cd-recorders available.Ensure that your cd-recorder is powered on and that all cables are properly connected. You may also need to update easy cd creator to recognize your cd-recorder, To update easy cd creator select web-checkup from the internet menu.

I have easy cd creator 4.02 and using a external hp cd writer plus series 7200, and pc is gateway. IF anyone had this problem or know how to fix this problem it would be gladly appreciated

I had the same situation. At the time I upgraded to the 4.02C version and then it worked. Are you running this version?

Do you currently have administrative rights? If not try giving yourself administrative priviledges.

Check your version of Easy CD Creator. There’s a version cutoff for what will work with Win2K.
