HP Driver Issues

On installing a HP2110 printer/fax/scanner the install never finished, when finish is pressed you get errors telling you there are permission issues. Then the pnp pop up and says there is a new device the process starts again. I believe someone elsehas been here before me and I am reaping the rewards. I did an uninstall, reged the local_machine to give everone full permissions and still the problem exists. It is a one year old dell with all patches applied and attached to a novell network.
