Driver was installed for this printer, but whenever the computer restarts “Found New Hardware” message keeps appearing and also a pop-up window asking for CD and browse to location. Message also states that an error occured while installing driver.
I am able to print a test page, but don’t know why the new hardware message keeps appearing.
Original problem was that everytime something was printed the pc would shutdown. I switched the printer and installed the pcl 5e printer and also remove the printer from the surge protector and plugged it directly into the wall outlet. The shutdown hasn’t happened yet, but the hardware message keeps appearing.
Any suggestions?
