I am having some difficulty trying to install a printer with vista printer drivers Via USB. Here is the senerio:
Vista Laptop, I loaded down the appropriate Vista driver for the Hp Laserjet 3550. It installs fine, the printer Icon gets created, however, when trying to print a test page, the printer Icon immediatley says ERROR and nothing else. One strange thing as well, when plugging the USB cable in the laptop Vista is not recognizing the hardware prior to putting on the drivers on.
No problem with the laptop and windows xp or 2000. Any input would be appreciated.
