I have an HP-UX system with 2 GB RAM that idles at about 3 MB free. After the bootup (and about a 5 minute wait for all default services to start) the memory is at about 1.2 GB free and then slowly declines. I’ve tried killing some processes that are not essential to free up the memory but it doesn’t help. I’m sure I have a memory leak somewhere, but I don’t have the convenience of licensing Glance so I was wondering what native OS tool would help in this manner or what freeware options I have.
