A company I am contracting for is in the process of implementing Web Jet Direct Admin to monitor five hundred plus printers across the country.
I am able to see the printers in the building I am working in when I run “Start Discovery”, but sometimes if I tell it to find a specific printer using “find devices” it will find that one device and the next time I run “start discovery” it will find the one device I manually entered the MAC, name or IP address.
I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and how they solved it.
Another problem that was noticed was sometimes a printer would be seen on the device list and other times it would not even though the device was up and running.
If you can provide information on these problems and other issues you encountered when you set the system up I would appreciate hearing from you.
