I want to know wether it is possible to insert CD Audio Tracks as background sound in an HTML page . If so , please let me know the process of conversion of *.cda to *.wav / *.mid . For this I shall be highly obliged .

HI,
There are lot of softwares avaliable for conversion of .cda to .wav/.mid . Search in google.com or downloads.com

You can put them in the HTML page.
In the head tag write this....

<bgsound src="filename.wav" loop="-1">

Along with the first answer, the loop="-1" will play it over and over. Loop="0" will play it once. You may also need autostart="true" (all within the <> html tag.

Use a program like Winamp to convert your cda files to wav files and then you can use the html tags mentioned in the other posts....
