Hung PC sessions on an AS/400

By suej ·
We are running an AS/400 V4R3 with P/C's running client access connected to it through a 5494 controller and IBM router on a frame circuit. Occasionally the P/C will lose the 400 session, but the AS/400 still thinks its connected. We have to go in and do an end immediate on the AS400 itsself. There is nothing set in the system value for inactivity time out.

Applications-->Configure TELNET-->Change TELNET
Attributes and mess with the session keepalive
timeout to adjust the behaviour your described.

You can also do this through operations
