Hyper-V Boot Loop with Xeon Silver CPU

Hi,
I experience boot loop issue when I activate VMX in BIOS and enable Hyper-V on Windows. I have tried it on Windows 10 Pro 22H2 with the latest update but problem still continues. The only way I can access Windows is disabling VMX on BIOS. “systeminfo.exe” shows that I have all requirements of Hyper-V (all yes).
What should I do? Do you know VMX related MSR CPU register values so that I can check? Or is there something else wrong?
Thanks

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-specifications says:
“Client Hyper-V requires a 64-bit system with second level address translation (SLAT) capabilities and additional 2 GB of RAM (available in Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise only)”.
Does your Xeon Silver CPU have SLAT? https://www.howtogeek.com/73318/how-to-check-if-your-cpu-supports-second-level-address-translation-slat/ tells how to find out.

Yes,
systeminfo.exe shows all Hyper-V requirements as “Yes” including SLAT. We have available RAM too.

To clean install the Windows OS after the BIOS change. I won’t write at length why this is just that it’s a common problem. Change a BIOS setting and most OSes will not boot and run.
