Hyperkin Scout USB for PC/Mac not working

So I just bought a Hyperkin Scout for my PC and no matter what I do it won’t work. I plug it in, and my computer does register that it’s plugged in, on the devices part of the settings menu it appears as “usb controller”, but other than that I simply cannot get it to do anything. I can’t find any resources about this online no matter where I look and I’m not even sure if this is the right place to be asking. If anyone at all can help it would be greatly appreciated.

https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Scout-Premium-SNES-Style-USB-Controller/dp/B0798GFM6V says it’s compatible with Windows Vista (sold from 2007 to 2010).

Return it if the seller can’t tell you where to find drivers for your OS (which might be Windows 10 or 11).

Seems you’ll have to find a way to run Windows. If this was me I’d run Windows in Virtual Box and see if that works.

Caveat: This is slightly advanced computer usage and I will not be able to supply you any step by step. BUT there are many articles and YouTubes about this app and more.
