I plugged my phone into a handset and I think it downloaded a virus and it wont turn back on. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Handsets seem to be associated with DECT-phones and those don’t catch viruses. And viruses usually only start doing something when the phone is turned on.

Please tell more about your phone, the handset, what you mean with turning on and what happens then.

Far more likely a battery issue or broken power switch than a virus. Typical virus type activity tries to steal your user data/credit card information instead of preventing you from turning the phone on.

If the phone was prevented from turning on, it couldn’t gather any information from the phone. That is a simple fact.

How old is the phone and what make/model is it? Have you tried using a different charging cable? When the phone is plugged in to the charger, does it indicate the phone is charging? Despite your fears/concerns, this doesn’t sound like a virus IMHO.

      Reset your phone

In my opinion, you should do a hardware reset for your phone. You can search for this on Google. But I thought you had physically broken your phone like I did during the volleyball game. so you have a software issue can easily perform the hardware reset and see the things happening for you
