Make sure that you create a “Start-up” disk and not just a boot disk.

A boot disk may only contain enough files to load DOS.

The Windows 95 startup disk includes the CD-ROM driver, fdisk, and a few other utilities.

Also, there are several different versions of W95, make sure that you get the file for the correct version.

      Original Release

      OEM release A

      OEM Release B (2.1)

OEM Release c (2.5) (Includes FAT 32 and USB support)

Usually, you create a bootable floppy disk, and copy the files from the disk image to the floppy.

      Good sources for files are:

      http://www.bootdisk.com
      http://www.madboot.com
