I found software to migrate AOL

By zlitocook ·
Favorites and email to outlook,Outlook express, Firefox, Eudora, Netscape, or Mozilla and its just a few clicks. Nothing fancy and for a small fee they will do it for you and send you a CD with the info on it.
This was holding us back from leaving AOL because we needed our contacts and favorites to keep in touch with people.
Now we can cut the high priced service provider and still keep all our stuff! Here is the link and the cost is small.

pen & paper?

sounds like a smart little tool, but if you wanted to leave AOL why not just copy the information manually?

I know it'll take a bit longer but unless your contacts list looks like the yellow pages (or similar phone book other side of the pond) then it shouldn't be too bad.

Haha I have

Over 200 favorites, 68 contacts and 75 emails I need to save. Yes I have cleaned out every thing, most of the emails are contracts with links to WebPages that I ether setup for people or links to a few companies that I still do things for.
My contacts are a big help when I need to map a location or refer someone to the company. And my fav's have only home or work related no porn :)
