I got banned for being under 13 (I’m actually 24)
Hello everyone, I need some help re-activating my instagram account.
I just got a dog last week and I wanted to create an account for her. I was stupid and tried to give her birthday for the profile details not mine. She is under 13, so my personal account got suspended.
I tried re-activating, they asked for my birthday, phone number and a picture of my ID card. I filled out the boxes but then couldn’t hit ‘send’. An error message pops up every time, saying ‘You can’t use this function right now’.
Here’s what the error message says (translated from Hungarian):
‘Protecting your community from unsolicited content limits how often you can post, comment, and perform other actions during a given period of time. You can try again later. Further information If you think you haven’t done anything that is against our community principles, let us know.’
I tried another way, there it says my username is not deactivated, which is not true.
Can someone please help me?

Did you “try again later”?
Did you “let [them] know”?I’m afraid we at TechRepublic can’t reactivate your account. Only Instagram customer service (or whatever it’s called by them) can do that.
Don’t talk to them about giving your dog his own Instagram account. I’m afraid that even dogs of 18 years old aren’t admitted. They and their dog friends don’t read ads, so Instagram can’t make money out of them. Better read the Instagram TOS to see if any other species than humans is accepted.
