For what search terms exactly do you want to rank no,1 ? Seeing your site, I don’t think you’ll score on, for example, Trump or genealogy or whales or Inuit or Ohio.

Generally, Google puts sites that pay for advertising higher on the search results than sites that don’t buy the top places. So that might help.

The next step is to do competitor analysis. Do a Google search with one of your preferred search terms. Then write an analysis, good enough to convince a few of your friends, why your site is better then all of the 10 links on the first search result page. For example, I saw an article about an AMD processor on your site. So, assuming that AMD is one of the search terms you want to be on the first page for, I tried that and saw amd.com, microsoft.com, reddit.com, a few shops and a few youtubes. So to come on the first page, you have to be better than they are. Are you?
