I have an issue with a W2k IAS member server. We are implementing a VPN solution using a Cisco PIX firewall and authenticating through a W2k IAS member server. We are still in mix mode. The IAS server will not authenticate the user until I create a local user account on the IAS server. After I create the local user account on the IAS server, then the user can connect through VPN. I can then delete the local user account on the IAS server and the user can still connect through VPN. My issue is that I have to create a local user account on the IAS server before you can connect through VPN and then I can delete the local user account on the IAS server and the user can connect through VPN fine. Does anyone have any ideal as to why I?m having this problem? Thanks
