I am using Outlook 2003 and 2007 on Exchange 2003. A Mac user at one of our vendors sends us meeting invites in iCal format. When we open the .ics file we see all the detail but are unable to respond with “accept, tenative, decline”. Those buttons are just greyed out. Outlook 2007 shows a note above the Send button: “as the meeting organizer, you do not need to respond to the meeting.”
Other than the KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925873/en-us (multi-event .ics files aren’t handled properly by Exchange 2003) I’ve not found anything that explains or fixes this. Anyone have any ideas?
