System:I.E 5.0,Win 2K Srv Pack 3.
Why is it that sometimes when I try to logon to Internet Connection(click e icon or goto CtrL Panel), the P.C will hang & I need to restart the P.C ,then I can logon to the Net??i.e .the mouse & screen will stall when I click the icon(4 Internet) or open the window for Network Connection, the very 1st time?
ii)Also, there is always this advertisement banner (www.gohip.com) that keep popping up everytime I launched a I.E sie,it quite cumbersome cos U hav 2 shut it down for easy viewing?Do I have to change anything or can use Mcfaee Security Sys Firewall Feature?that Helps?
iii)Finally,since I.E 5.0 is a pretty old version, is it advisable to upgrade to 5.5,but I can’t find I.E 5.5 software site 4 downloading on the Net, only I.E 5.5 w Srv Pack 2?or remain as I.E 5.0 as it is deemed to be more stable & less flawed than I.E 6.0?
