tmpproxy.exe is an application *normally* run at start-up if you have installed Trend Micro PC-cillin 2003 antivirus software.
Unfortunatly,... there is no mentioning of this application in all of Trend Micro pages including their Knwledge Base articles.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Regarding your concerns, the TMProxy.EXE file inside the PC-cillin 2003 folder is the WebMailScan and WebTrap agent or service application. This module will scan Web based emails and likewise HTML page module. Scanning of Web based emails is a new future included in this version.
This includes HTML, OCX and Java modules. It also checks the URL filter if you have the Site filter feature enabled. In line with this, can you provide me the exact error message you ncountered so I can further analyze your concerns.

Then any attemp to load a web page results in the error "Server not found" until I reboot.
