IE6.0 shutdown

Internet Explorer 6.0 shuts down periodically and locks up the entire system. I am running Win98SE and have updated it as needed. I keep getting a message back from IE automated support about DeltaBar and related .exe’s that aren’t a part of Win98SE or I just can’t seem to find on my system. What do I do???
