I installed IE8, tried to launch, it flashed and closed. Microsoft website said to uninstall IE8, launch IE7 and reset all settings, then reinstall IE8. This worked, until I went into Tools/Options and changed security settings, then same click-flash-close problem. Does this mean I can’t have higher security settings in IE8? If so, why have Options?
