iexplore.exe - Application Error

By Laurie J ·

On closin IE using XP and IE V6 I sometimes get the following error:

iexplore.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x62**33b1" referenced memory at "0x62**33b1". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program.

Any idea what is causing this and how it can be fixed please?

I heard that it was caused by your toolbars such as google or yahoo. Go to addremove programs and remove any toolbars. I was having the same problem and removed the yahoo toolbar and the problem stopped.
