I am running IIS 4 on NT 4 server, some of the FTP connections stay hung open forever even though the time out is set for 900 seconds. The only thing that FTP is used for is to update Mcafee Virus Scan dat and engine files. This started happening about 2 weeks ago, nothing has changed on the clients or server. I have perfmon open and even if I kill the connections in IIS perfmon still reports that they are open. Any ideas?
