IIS 4.0, Exchange and newsfeed

I have an exchange server and an iis news server. The iis server is publically available and i want to connect it to our exchange server to allow our users to view and post. i have been able to set IIS to allow pull feed and this works, i cannot make a server post. i believe that this kind of newsfeed is not available but wondered if there was a solution.

Have you tried adding the SMTP service for IIS 4.0? You get this from the Option Pack CD. I trust that you are running IIS 4.0 its so much better than 3.0 or 2.0., again its a free upgrade from the Option Pack.

SMTP service is installed, but i am not sure how this helps me. I am fairly certain i am using version 4.
