I am setting up a web site that has to run IIS to work with the e-commerce software that I purchased. I know that on NT workstation they limited the number of network connections to the machine. What I do not know is if there are any limitations that I need to know about if I were to try running a IIS 5.0 server on 2000 Professional. It does come with it. I am only going to be running a small site with less than 10 connections at a time. Most the time there is only one or 2 and the highest I have accually seen is 6 at once, but I am hopeing for higher levels of traffic. If anyone can tell me for sure if there are or aren’t any limitations or if there is a significant performance increase if I went with server that would be great.
