Linux could’t find my modem(V.Everything Courier 33,600 internal), but “minicom” can dial by use this modem.
I was trying connected to my ISP manually (I used pppd and chat command) and all failed.
I used follow :
#pppd connect ‘chat -v “” ATDT1234567 ogin: username ssword: password’ /dev/cua2 57600
but after connect to ISP I don’t get response for “login” and “password”.
Why?
I used ISP “Metconnect”(www.metconnect.com)
May be this ISP not supporting this method to access.
Any Idiasplease help me.
