I recieved the iMAC G3 Blondi(blue) from ebay a year ago with OS 10 X on it. I’m a PC user, but I do know alittle about the imac/powerbook 5300. My Question is-
On this imac g3 how in the world do you reset the HD? I’ve been getting errors at setup-
unknown word, failure to boot, imac open fireware 3 that was built 12/03/98
Plus, I’m having problems with is I want to put NETgear Wireless(for mac) onto the computer and it will not boot to that CD.
Plus the guy’s name is on it at setup, how do I get rid of him off the iMac? I have NO setup files or software with this iMac, he never gave me any. Someone once told me get OS 9, but will that work with Netgear??
