imcdata archive folders (in/out)

By Mully_MCSE ·
I know this has been asked before. I just haven't seen a clear answer if this is ok to do. Can I delete some of the messages that are in these archive folders? I know I have logging turned on and I want to keep using it. Can I pick a months worth of these log files and get rid of them? Is this going to do any damage? I've seen messages saying not to do this and I've seen some saying it's ok.

Thanks
Sean

You can safely delete files in the imcdata\in\archive or imcdata\out\archive folders at any time with no problem.

However, do not delete the files in imcdata\in or imcadat\out. These files are active messages that are waiting to be delivered. They are the messages you see when you look at your IMC inbound and outbound queues. This difference may be why you've seen seeming contrasting answers to this question in the past.
