Open Firefox
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import and Backup

the choose backup or export HTML and choose a save location.

do the opposite (restore or import HTML) to restore bookmarks.

Not to mention which version of FF?

This may however be of help to you.

In XP Pro you’ll find the Backup Bookmarks on

C Drive\Documents & Settings\Your User Account\Application Data\Monzilla\Firefox\Profiles\then a Default String.default

But you will have to first Unhide Hidden Folders so you’ll need Administrator Access.

If that is of any use to you

Use FEBE & CLEO or MozBackup.

Bookmarks are in bookmarks.sqlite in your profile folder, under your Windows user profile.

These tools will back up your entire profile. If you only want bookmarks, .martin has the easy method.
