I have 2 questions:
1) Websites where I can learn on how to organize an In-house Software Department
2)Some suggested main tasks and job descriptions to organize an in-house Soft. Dev. department.
A BIT OF BACKGROUND/CONTEXT
We are a charity organization who moved from 3rd party/outsourced Soft. Dev. department to an in-house one. So we need to define roles and structures: who will do what.
We are not a very big organization, but we have 1 great Web developer, 1 great graphic designer, and 1 project coordinator (that would be me) in our IT team. We still outsource Hardware and network related support.
Our first project is launching to our almost ready new single-platform online system (we already have one in place that was running in 2 platforms).
I’ll appreciate your experience/suggestions on this.
