In w/both feet, Guidence w/landing Plz

By KomodoDr ·
Hi I'm Jose.
I recently enrroled in Heald collage, San Jose CA. I won't start class till Jan. and i can chose another field before then. I singed up for Electronics Technology. My reason was this, i have been playing with computers for four years now i configure my own systems one on win98 and the other winME {i work with what i got}, stereo, tv, and some appliances too. I enjoy getting my hands dirty and don't mind the typing either, as long as i have spell check. Heald also offers weekend boot-camps for certifications in
programming languages for free. So i thought i start with this degree and expand from there. Knowing what you know is my approach sound or should i think differently. Thank you, Jose

Having training in Electronics will enable you to stand out as a PC technician, if that is your career goal.

Typically, training in electronics is the first step toward a career at an electronics manufacturing company.

Knowledge of programming is almost a requirement for any electronics design related job.

If it is at all possible, you want to work toward a full 4 year degree.
This will provide you with the widest choice of jobs.
