Increase history in firefox

I just keep finding other questions from people asking the same thing and being told you can’t. But there must be an addon that does this, not that I can find one on the addons page…
I want to be able to store at least a year worth of browsing history. Like IE can.

Anyone know of a way or an addon that can do this?

frame. But it may clear the older stuff if it fills up the space set aside for the cache in the options – advanced – network – (limit cache to xx MB)

Or it may be a little different for Fire Fox on Linux, but I doubt it

It seems the max is 1024, I will see if that makes a difference.
