Increasing the size of text in pdf document

I was wandering if it was possible to increase the font size of a pdf document from adobe reader I am trying to print. At the moment, the fontsize is a bit small and even if I zoom out print, it still remains at the same small size

I don't believe this can be done at all with Acrobat Reader, which as its name implies, is simply intended to be used to read PDF documents. And it *may* be possible with Acrobat Professional, depending on how the document was created. If the PDF is scanned in as an image, you won't be able to alter the size of text. However, in some cases, Acrobat Professional will allow you to use the Touch Up Text Tool (location varies depending on which version of Professional you have) to change the size of the text. If however, you only have the Reader, as stated in your question, I don't believe it's possible to alter the size of the text that prints out. Perhaps using the old-fashioned method of zooming it with a copier...
