Industry statistics of backup success and failures in a data center environ

Hi all,

Require to do a business case study for the industry statistics of the backup success and failures in a data center (for telcos). Any one has any idea what are the industry statistics for eg. 80% of the backup success indicates a good work flow in the backup environment (for eg. in a Veritas NetBackup environment). Are there such statistics available ?
