I’m trying to deploy a wireless network with very little money. I don’t even know how much “very little” is at this point. I need a place to start. There is a very old wireless network in the building. Half of the access points are working and half aren’t. They are 802.11a and everyone is complaining that they can’t connect and don’t know why (I suspect it’s because they don’t have a 802.11a card). Is it a matter of unplugging the 802.11a access points and plugging in some kind of 802.11b/g/n access point? Where do I start?
