What do you want to do?

Are you asking if you should earn some certifications?

Well, they never hurt. Since you're fresh from school, exams like the CISSP or some of the lower-level Cisco certifications should be easy for you to get.

However don't sell yourself short....a Master's degree should trump any certification as long as it's a reputable school.

One approach is to be 'working on' or 'pursuing' the relevant certifications....that way the computer that searches thru resumes gets a 'hit' on your resume, and you show initiative.

Most employers just want a good employee, they could care less about certifications, except it makes it easier for them to quickly find candidates.
