OK here’s the question, I was recently installing Mcafee Antivirus on some workstations, when one of the workstations decieded to give me a blue screen of death. Since then I can not load the newer version of Virus Scan on this particular w/s.
What I’ve done so far
Deleted all files that were linked to Mcafee
Deleted any register files that contained Mcafee or Network Associates
Updated Windows 98 with all criticle updates
Installed IE5.5
reinstalled MS Installer
Checked out technet andcould not find anything that could help me.
Hopefully someone here has ran accross this before. Please note that this is Mcafee Vscan 4.03 converting to 4.5.
